Immutable and always-true rule of the internet
If it’s something YOU like or care about, it’s a stupid fad and/or idea propagated by hordes of slack-jawed, drooling dipshits… a completely worthless waste of time that is shockingly and repulsively being spread around like a mindless mantra by the idiot masses.
If it’s something I like or care about, it’s a movement, emboldened by a proactive and passionate grassroots base that is energized and fueled by the determination of an entire generation. It represents a coming together of minds in a way never before seen.
This rule can apply to politics, choice of web browser/blogging platform/social web thing/techie crap, fashion, film, music, cultural phenomenon, ideology, philosophy, or anything else. It is true of EVERYTHING.
