Nothing sucks the cool factor out of any movie like seeing douchebags latch onto it.
My half-brother apparently enjoyed THE DARK KNIGHT because it was “so fucked up”. Some of the film’s highlights and pithy observations:
“i like the shotgun to the face. when joker is in that truck. that was nice.”
“i dunno. people were saying online [the next villain] might be riddler again. and some people were saying catwoman. and now that the bitch is dead, bruce is going to need someone to fill that void. enter selina kyle.”
“maybe do kind of like a zodiac killer kind of thing with riddler but idk. they could make him so much darker. i like jim carrey. i loved him in that role.”
“[Riddler] was always kind of boring but i’m sure they’ll figure something out. maybe they’ll make him a pedophile. let’s hope so.”
“dude the flipping of that semi truck was very cool”
